'New York was no mere city. It was instead an infinitely romantic notion, the mysterious nexus of all love and money and power, the shining and perishable dream itself.'
- Joan Didion
A Flood of Summer Rain, Concept
The collection is inspired by New York.

A city characterised by an attitude, energy and unpredictability that make it intense and intoxicating in equal measure.

Taking inspiration from an August downpour in New York, the opening intention was to capture the feeling of summer rain in the city
The febrile moment when humidity reaches a fever pitch and the heavens open, and rain dances on concrete in the liquid and lambent air
